Eskom Expo for Young Scientists (Expo) is South Africa's primary and only existing science fair for school students, where they have an opportunity to exhibit their own scientific investigations. Eskom Expo brings together students, teachers, professional organisations and educational bodies and governments from all over Southern Africa.

The Eskom Expo for Young Scientists is South Africa’s leading, and only existing, national science fair that affords learners the opportunity to enter a project to exhibit their own scientific investigation. The project aims to inspire and develop young scientists who are able to identify a problem, analyse information, find solutions and communicate findings effectively.
This year saw KSP entering their biggest number of students for the Eskom Science Expo held in August for Gr 5 to Gr 12. There were 87 schools with over 545 learner projects. 29 students were entered and all 29 received placings. We achieved 4 Highly Commended Certificates, 11 Bronze Medals, 6 Silver and 8 Gold. 6 of our children received Best in their Category and Maia Klijnstra received the.
Boksburg will be buzzing with excitement from 2 to 5 October as hundreds of young scientists from across Africa descend on the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre to compete in the 38th annual Eskom Expo for Young Scientists International Science Fair (ISF).
